I got this wool 70's coat from Goodwill the other day, but didn't want to post it because I had already posted the outfit I had on. I have kind of been living in this coat. It is the perfect thickness and shape, and I even like the hood! which is rare for me.

Also, I got these nail polishes yesterday at Ross. I've been looking for some good pastel colors for a long time, but all the nail colors in stores around here are just regular old ones, like shiney reds and pinks and some random neon colors. It took me literally 20 minutes to decide which ones to get because there were so many different pastels! It was heaven.

A Thin Dress

I don't really do runway posts usually. In fact I don't believe I have ever done one on here before. But I felt like something fun to do would be to round up sliiming looks from recent/semi-recent collections. I chose these based on what personnaly appeals to me as being a 'sliming look', but of course that may not be universal.

First up are two from Bensoni, fall 2010

That kind of crysiline print, even muted like this, does well for me. The black lines also bode well for curviness.

I have big hips, so a jacket with this sort of silhuette is great. A belted waist would be a good add on.

I am going to be late to class if I continue, so Part Two will come later.
