Historical women mash-up

My original intention was to be Jane Austen for Halloween, but the outfit ended up being a little too Renaissance. So my outfit for Halloween became a homage to not only Jane Austen but Christine de Pizan, as well. She is an author who challenged misogyny early in the game and who happened to be depicted in medieval artwork as wearing a dress similiar to mine. So there you have it!

Etsy and Friends

This is my Etsy shop! I only ever keep a few things on it, but I have a lot stored up for it! So if you check it out, and your an Etsy user, please favorite it so you can see the new things I'll be putting in once I sell some things. I would always like to put a lot of things up for sale at once, but somehow that never really happens..If only I had more time and people to model clothes at my house and a working camera. It seems all three of those thing have a hard time aligning.

This is the Etsy shop run by my awesome super amazing boss lady who rules like no other, Kristin! She has a big space in the upstairs of 17 E. Beverly Antiques, the solid non-virtual side of Retro & Me. The difference is there is a whooole lot more- in variety and quantity. It is basically the best thing to exist. I feel super blessed and honored and ecstatic on the daily to be her shop assistant. Here is the Facebook page for Retro & Me. Follow her blog here. She is on Instagram as Retroromance88.
These are some of my favorites currently listed in her Etsy store!
(Click to see them in the shop)

Now onto Joy's shop! Joy is a long time friend and a very creative spirit. She is a massage therapist who also makes and sells collage greeting cards and prints in her Etsy shop Artistic Drama. She is very generous and thoughtful, and this shows in how she opts to use recycled materials when she can as well as use some profits to donate to charities of her choice. Here is the Facebook page for Artistic Drama! She is on Instagram as Artisticdrama. Stay posted on her facebook because she does sales all the time! and you can get updates of new collages on her Instagram.
Here are my favorites from her creations!
