Hans Christian Awesomeson

Some more pretty runway looks. I've been looking into more and more shows and it has made me remember how fun it is to see what creations designers come up with while interpreting their inspiration through my own taste.

Olympia Le-Tan! Have you ever seen such a perfectly executed Lederhosen look for womenswear? What a freaking lovely collection.

Glummy Glam Glam

I haven't kept up with runway shows for a couple years, just the occasional peek into photos from shows I caught a glimpse of and couldn't help but look for more.
Well, I caught a glimpse of a couple that I feel I should document because they have inspired me.
First is Rochas! The feel I got from my favorite looks were tinted with the memory of watching Rear Window as a kid.

Historical women mash-up

My original intention was to be Jane Austen for Halloween, but the outfit ended up being a little too Renaissance. So my outfit for Halloween became a homage to not only Jane Austen but Christine de Pizan, as well. She is an author who challenged misogyny early in the game and who happened to be depicted in medieval artwork as wearing a dress similiar to mine. So there you have it!
