Historical women mash-up

My original intention was to be Jane Austen for Halloween, but the outfit ended up being a little too Renaissance. So my outfit for Halloween became a homage to not only Jane Austen but Christine de Pizan, as well. She is an author who challenged misogyny early in the game and who happened to be depicted in medieval artwork as wearing a dress similiar to mine. So there you have it!
